Before getting into the specifics of the daycare, I'd like to share with you all a little background as to how and why I decided to dedicate my entire focus and time to caring for children.
I've always been fond of children, and particularly enjoy the happiness and excitement in watching their early stages of life. The simple fact that I'm given the privilege of partaking in early learning and experiences is an honor which I truly believe enrich my life personally. Seeing a child grow and learn something nearly everyday of their lives simply does not get old and I've made it a personal goal to ensure that each child I'm given the privilege of caring for grows as fond of me as I to them; since every single child I've cared for I've treated as if my own.
Providing a happy, safe, nurturing environment is always the primary goal in caring for children, in my opinion. Adding an educational experience to that formula is a guarantee for their future success by means of attaining joy through learning. Here at Silvia's Daycare, I work alongside two fantastic ladies whom are both very experienced and especially qualified; one of which is trained not only in the necessary safety hazards (CPR, first aid, etc.), but also a specialist in the Montessori method of teaching: seeking and developing the child's true normal nature to better aim at functional independence. Not only are the children given a fun, nurturing, and safe time, they are provided with premium educational development to help prepare them for their independent, academic futures.
The daycare is located in beautiful North Beach, on the lower level of my own home, equipped with all necessary safety hazards which are always maintained to assure the safety of the children, and provides many fun toys to keep them constantly entertained with something to do and learn from. We provide constant activities, both indoors and out; and thanks to location, have the playground to take the children everyday for their playtime.
